The Army Research Laboratory (ARL) is the Army's corporate basic and applied research laboratory. Our mission is to provide innovative science, technology, and analysis to enable full-spectrum operations. ARL consists of the Army Research Office (ARO) and six Directorates--Weapons and Materials, Sensors and Electron Devices, Human Research and Engineering, Computational and Information Sciences, Vehicle Technology, and Survivability and Lethality Analysis. The Army relies on this ARL Team for scientific discoveries, technologic advances, and analyses to provide warfighters with capabilities to succeed on the battlefield.

This is a great opportunity for those desiring the challenge of the fast-paced oil and gas industry. This position is ideal for a highly motivated candidate with a drilling and inspection background and strong algebra skills who enjoys working in a dynamic team environment.

The North Dakota Field Office manages over 4.1 million acres of mineral estate in the western one-third of the state and about 58,000 acres of public land, mostly in Dunn and Bowman Counties.  The office manages approximately 1,700 oil and gas leases, as well as producing federal coal leases. Recreation opportunities include the historic Schnell Recreation Area near Richardton, which includes three miles of hiking trails and six primitive campsites. The public lands have yielded important scientific fossil discoveries, including dinosaurs, catfish, sharks, and rhinoceros.
